Description
Our Summer Sports & Entertainment auction features many rare and one of a kind items. The auction is highlighted by over 150 card lots including graded Stan Musial & Walter Payton rookies. There are sets with Pete Maravich and Dr J rookie cards. Several lots of wax boxes. Other sports highlights include several game used jerseys and bats. Plenty of autographed items. Our Entertainment selection is highlighted by an autograph album with early signatures from all 4 of the Beatles. 2 record album displays signed by Michael Jackson. And a fantastic crossover piece, the flag that was waved when Bobby Rahal crossed the finish line at the 1986 Indy 500. The flag then was flown aboard a space mission and signed by the astronauts. This a true one of kind item you will not find anywhere else.
Conditions Of Sale The offering and sale of property by Ripley Auctions is subject to the following conditions of sale, as modified or supplemented by other written provisions and/or in announcements made by the auctioneer, prior to or at the time of the sale. If the foregoing conditions or any applicable provisions of law are not complied with, in addition to other remedies available to the Company and the Consignor (including without limitation the right to hold the purchaser(s) liable for the bid price) the Company, at its option, may either cancel the sale, retaining as liquidated damages all payments made by the purchaser(s), or resell the property. In such event, the purchaser(s) shall remain liable for any deficiency in the original purchase price and will also be responsible for all costs, including warehousing, the expense of the ultimate sale, and the Company's commission at its regular rates together with all related and incidental charges, including legal fees. Please note that any lot listed with "attributed" or "style" cannot be guaranteed to be the work of the noted artist or period. SHIPPING: Professional in house shipping is available for items. Successful bidders will receive a final invoice within 3 - 5 business days after the auction giving you payment and shipping details, if applicable, pertaining to the item(s) you have purchased. After payment is made your purchase will be shipped with in 10 days, and tracking will be sent by email. Larger items will need to be shipped by a third party shipper. The minimum shipping cost is $20.00 for the total order. COINS AND RESTRICTED ITEMS: Some items are considered restricted commodities by Fedex and UPS which includes but is not limited to Coins, Currency and Bullion and cannot be insured by these carriers. If the buyer requests one of these carriers then the insurance liability falls upon the buyer. Coins and Currency can be shipped by USPS and can be insured. Ripley Auctions is only responsible for items while in our possession and we will not be responsible for an item after a carrier or third party shipper picks up the item(s). In the unlikely event of a lost or damaged item, it is the sole responsibility of the buyer to contact the carrier and have the insurance claim filed. REMOVAL: Removal shall be at the expense, liability, and risk of the purchaser. Ripley Auctions shall not be responsible for items not removed within 10 business days of the auction. Lots not paid for and/or removed within the time specified may be resold at public or private sale without further notice. COMPLIANCE WITH TERMS OF SALE: The contract of sale may be considered, "in default", if payments are not received within 10 business days of winning bidder's receipt of invoice. Legal action may be pursued against buyers in default on payment. All monies received as deposit or otherwise, will be retained for damages, when applicable. ADDITION TO OR WITHDRAWAL FROM SALE: Ripley Auctions reserves the right to withdraw from sale any item listed. DISPUTES BETWEEN BIDDERS: The decision of the auctioneer shall be final and absolute. PERSONAL PROPERTY AND RISK: After an item is declared "Sold" it becomes the sole responsibility of the successful bidder. Neither Ripley Auctions nor staff shall be liable by reason of any defect in or condition of the premises on which the sale is held. Payment Terms
Invoices with shipping charges where shipping is needed will be emailed within a few business days of auction end. If you plan to pick up your items please let us know as soon as possible.
Shipping charges will be calculated and added to invoices. Day of sale pickup is available,. Pickup is available 10-5 Monday thru Friday, it is suggested to schedule a time for pickup.
